Tune in

if you haven't already, to these splendidly independent voices...

Penelope at The Intertidal Zone

& cc'd at Carbon Copied

  1. Yes Claire, I especially like Carbon Copied ... quite idiosyncratic - zany and quirky (in the best possible way), though I'm not sure cc'd would entirely approve of such an appraisal! ;)

But I like people who are Curious, think for themselves, and 'follow their own muse', and cc'd certainly possesses those attributes in my view.

    All The Best!

  2. Hi bluemoon (he who comes and goes by many names!), I must agree. Peculiar and individual = excellent qualities. Speaking of which, I was lauding your blog to a group of discerning originals (good women friends) last night. Anticipate a bunch of new visitors to the i-Magi-Nation soon.

I've been immersed in the studio these past weeks, being led into a new/old territory by the work that's happening there. It's exciting. It's terrifying. (Each as essential as the other at different times!).

All the best to you, too.

  3. Yes, now that all the twiddling of blog-knobs (or as you humans would have it, gnobs ;) is complete, I'm hoping to generate a bit more activity on the dalek blogs, otherwise there's a danger they'd acquire an air of pontificating. And we certainly wouldn't want to go down that particular road would we!

So Thank Q! for your endorsement Claire :) - every little bit helps, because generating a readership from scratch, whose Minds are 'switched on', is proving to be quite a challenge so far!

Still, I'm delighted to say you seem to be pretty alert! ... though by the sounds of it, that would be pretty much a guaranteed state-of-mind anyway, for someone immersed in a terrifying studio! ;)

  4. Hi bluemoon - a bit late in the day, this reply, but which of us is clock-watching?! Neither, me thinks. So, anyway - a quick comment re; your 'more activity on the dalek blogs, otherwise there's a danger they'd acquire an air of pontificating...' Well, good on you, I say. Personally, I don't think you're anywhere close to pontificating but I do understand where you're coming from. This IS strange territory - the blogosphere, I mean - isn't it? I can get myself in a twist about what's okay to say and what isn't. There has to be room for musing and probing and challenging both self and others, but it would be too awful for words if one's (self-conscious to start with!) voice become in any way misunderstood as being a know-it-all, or even too fond of its sound. Hmm. Sometimes I think I might just shut up shop and stick to the studio! (Terrifying as it is these days!)

    Best, C
