Trapeze

  1. Oops, sorry. . . I've disappeared the story I originally posted with this image. . . I hadn't anticipated this, but it's gone off to replace another peculiar story I'd submitted for a Short Story Collection. . . Deirdre, the neurotic main character in the first one has been ousted by the man on the trapeze. Good for him, I say. And perhaps there's a lesson in this? Better to step out on the high wire than to walk the low road? Or perhaps we need a bit of both. . . ; ).

  2. Hi C, It was an excellent story, as were the comments. Sorry to see them disappeared. As for "a bit of both" . . . indubitably.

  3. Dem!! Another reminder to be more regular in opening my blog and making visits. I do love the pic though, and I look forward to reading about the trapeze man in the Peculiar Love Story collection, when it's launched from Penelope's epub pad. L, Pem x

  4. Hi T - I'm glad you caught a glimpse before it disappeared! I appreciated Melissa, Pen & Susan's comments, too. (Did you see that Susan has actually met Philippe Petit? By the end of 'Man on Wire' I had more-or-less adopted him as my muse, too. Have you seen the movie? If not, do. . . L, C

  5. Hi Pem - helloooo. I do love your blog portrait, you know (yes, I know you know; I have said so to you before ; ).). I'm happy Pen has chosen this story over Deirdre's. Surprises abound. . . may you have good ones today. L, C xo
