Dear Marylinn - I understand Rebecca's love for jellies. Floating islands of transparency and apparent calm (it's difficult not to anthropomorphise), they suggest the possibility of a gentler pace, of ease and grace of movement. Thanks for coming by. It's very quiet out here, isn't it. . . xo
A pleasure, Rebecca. I so love your descriptions of moon jellies and hot-cross bun jellies - any and all jellies! I can no longer look on them without thinking of you.
PS. I came across your vivid description of the Dune women the other day (many moons ago on a post on this blog) and how the all-women army of Dune were called the Fish Speakers. ( ( ((o)) ) )
Aren't they, Rach! They're like transparent placentae! (And silly me, I changed the settings on my comments because my email box was being inundated with 'anonymous' spam and of course I didn't realise I'd have to go to the 'settings' page of this blog to see if there are any comments awaiting moderation. So I've only just found these now. Duh. At least the spam ones are not longer hitting me (up to 20 a day was a bit much!). xo
Such tranquil beauty for us all, the opportunity to stand closer together in love and trust. xoxo
