  3. Oh gosh, could it be something related to the 14-year-old banana but moister and hence furrier, and served up about15 years ago on a crazy-glazed plate?

  4. Angella - yes! But the fur of what. . . ?!

dbs - memory's residue; love that.

Timothy - I saw Dog there, too. Of course, today is Halloween over there. There'll no doubt be children around this evening hoping for lollies. This is when I turn into Ms. Haversham; me, my spiders webs and no lollies-in-the-house. But I have mandarins and this furry item. Perhaps just showing them that will do the trick.

Hi Pen - how did you guess, my friend? There is definitely a relationship between this and the 14-year old banana. All will be revealed tomorrow ; )

  6. Fox or deer fur? The white portions look like smoke or steam, but I know my eyes are playing tricks.
    Happy Halloween!

  7. Ant, C - maaaybe, maaaybe not ; )

    Helen - sounds like a an other-worldly place, a place worth visiting. . .

RachvB - different eyes, different tricks.

All of what we see is real. And all, illusory?

I love that we live in a world of infinite possibilities, don't you? Thanks, friends, for adding magic to this particular little mystery. L, C

  8. Claire, my powers of imagination are too feeble to ever see you as Madam Haversham. Even on Halloween. ;-)
