Thank you, Claire. Astonishing. Heroic. Poignant. Piercing. Haunting. Sublime. Such a beautiful swimmer . . .We navigate these waters beneath heaven, and heaven upon these waters.
This really is astonishing. It feels just like my dreamland head yesterday. Wow. Thank you.
Hmmm....I can't seem to get the video to work -- just a black screen. I'll try again later.
Hi T - she is a beautiful swimmer, isn't she? Almost more so because of her broken wing. (Did you notice?)Beneath the ice there really is a second heaven. It's a dream space - surreal and strange, but somehow comforting. A place, as you suggest, to navigate and dwell in.
Hi T. Clear - hmm. That's odd. I'm having difficulty uploading it, too. Mind you, my internet connection has been really dodgy these past few days; things take aaaaages to upload. I sounds as though we may be experiencing the same thing? Do come back and try again! L, C
Dear Radish - it happened again?! Wow. Thank you. This makes me think of Seamus Heaney's poem, "Peninsula" in which he writes '... the sea is the land's edge also...' The drop of water that leaves our shore eventually makes its way to yours, and the other way round. We dip our cups into the self-same sea. As you said the other day, the idea makes one feel less lonesome... L, C x
So very beautiful
I'm glad you find it so, nursemyra - and thank you for visiting. (Anyone who loves birds, and especially parrots, is most welcome!)
