I recognize my 'propensity for intensity' and reality's 'tap on the hand' is most often a grounding thing! I grew up in Africa, surrounded by the beauty and gore of a sometimes quite brutal natural environment. Even there, I could not stamp on a caterpillar, would rescue bees from sticky cups of juice and stop the traffic to help chameleons and tortoises cross the road! <br /><br />Perhaps the mouse incident was a growth opportunity?!
